Chasyr: Preparing for Liftoff

It has been an exciting journey since July, and it won’t be long before Chasyr becomes synonymous with rideshare in Fresno, CA. In order to make that happen, we have been diligently building the foundation for our project to succeed. Here are a few Chasyr updates just in case you missed them.

Legal Team Joins Chasyr

We lawyered up with some very reputable lawyers from De la Peña & Holiday LLP. Brent Britton is licensed to practice law in California, New York, and Florida. He is rated AV-preeminent by Martindale-Hubble, and he is listed annually among the Florida Legal Elite and the Best Lawyers in America. In 2007, he was named a distinguished alumnus of the MIT Media Laboratory. Greg Karch is a business transactions lawyer specializing in cryptocurrency, blockchain and smart contracts, including money transmitter laws, ICO’s, token sales, and structuring blockchain startups. We are very grateful for their counsel and are glad to have them join the team.

Our First Partnership

We are now proud corporate partners of the Fresno Grizzlies who play out of the beautiful Chukchansi Park stadium about a mile from our current headquarters. The Grizzlies are the 2015 Triple A league champions and the affiliate of the Houston Astros. Nine of the players that will be in this year’s World Series are from the Grizzlies and we are very excited to be affiliated with all these champions. By partnering with The Grizzlies we will see heavy demand here in Fresno for our future Chasyrs when we launch.

“I remember when Lyft tried to partner with the Grizzlies and it never became official. I felt excited to see how excited they were to partner with a startup as young as Chasyr. The confidence they have in us is very motivating and we look forward to working with them. “

— Tommy Marquez, CEO at Chasyr

Google Fresno DevFest 2017

We sponsored our first event, Valley DevFest, which is the biggest technology event in the Central Valley of California. It was an honor to do so while we are still self funded. We hope to get more involved with the Valley DevFest for years to come. This event was a great place to find people in the tech space and make them aware of our plan to hire a local team once our budget allows and we have the luxury of not moving at 100mph. We will have a job board on our website soon for those that are interested in joining the Chasyr team. Anyone looking to get involved sooner can do so by joining our FacebookGroup or Telegram.

Speaking of tech related stuff we are now taking submissions from anyone in the Fresno area who would like to test our interactive design prototype. If you would like to participate in testing please reach out to us on our Contact Usform.

What is Next for Chasyr?

Now that we have a legal team and are incorporated we have begun the process of searching for seed from interested investors so we can begin business operations and continue full app development. We are taking our token sale very serious and intend to be in full compliance with the SEC’s existing regulations and laws from the very beginning of our development. This means we will not be rushing into a token sale.
